One of the biggest expected releases in 2017 is the Samsung Galaxy 8. From slimmer bezels to an all on-screen button configuration and an added desktop dock, design speculations and confirmations are abuzz.

In a recent data leaked from Tab S3, that  further explained how diagrams of Galaxy S8 were included in the help files, one confirmed that the iconic home button is now an on-screen one at the bottom of the screen. With the removal of the physical home button, the fingerprint sensor seems to have been repositioned to another spot, which oddly enough fell beside the rear camera.

In addition to this removal and repositioning, the design also features icons that are not at all the same with other devices using the Android OS. In these terms, Samsung may have overhauled even the look of the virtual layout that makes the future flagship phone unique from other Smartphone line in the business.

Making things more interesting is the leaked image of the phone sitting on a "DeX Dock" which reports from  confirm that this allows the phone to be linked to an external output like the monitor of a PC through HDMI port. This feature is not exactly a direction never tried before, referencing the Microsoft's Continuum on Windows 10 phones, which provides a user interface similar to a desktop the ability to check all files on the phone.

While Motorola also tried this function before and failed, Samsung seems to have the added accessory polished. However, Samsung will sure to come at a price that would make buyers think a bit more before purchasing.

Meanwhile, the Tab 3 where all the leaked information comes from is expected to be presented at the Mobile World Congress very soon. Although the images all but specify that the Samsung G8 is ready, the reveal may be done at a later date. Things keep getting more hybrid and high-end for Samsung and consumers are in for surprises for sure.
