To keep up with 2017 being a great year for mobile devices, HTC has its fair share to add to the tough competition. HTC 11 U promises impressive features that may give its competitors a run for their money. It comes nothing short of outstanding specs which may put it as one of the must-have mobile handsets this year.
The HTC U 11 recently made an appearance on , Android's benchmark database. Just like its competitors, it is also reported to come with Snapdragon 835 and 4GB of RAM. This will work perfectly with its 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels.
Its battery is relatively impressive with 3,600 mAh. It is expected to provide power to the device for a considerable amount of time. Such battery is expected to give it life for about half a day or so on a single charge. It will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is already pre-installed upon official release.

However, the unique feature of the HTC U 11 is its camera set-up. While most devices have the best feature for its rear-facing camera, the HTC U 11 does the complete reverse. Its rear-facing camera comes with 12-megapixels while its front-facing camera boasts of 16-megapixels. No wonder why this handset is considered the "Selfie Master."
This U 11 also scored in the single core test and 6,137 points with all eight cores working. This is considerably more effective as it returned higher score compared to Samsung S8 for also having Snapdragon 835 inside. The S8 only scored 1,832 which is almost 100 points lower.
The HTC U 11's form has yet to be finalized which means leaks and rumored images may not be it yet. It can still change over the course of time, giving HTC the flexibility to tweak anything which is deemed necessary.
