Compared to the 2014 model, the new 2018 Toyota Kluger now comes bigger, larger, safer and better looking. The outside of this car has been designed to have sharper body lines and more masculine front, while the inside comes with a more spacious and elegant accent.
Having the overall body weight being reduced, expect the new Kluger to have a more fuel efficiency and driving performance as well. Toyota also equipped some safety features and technological infotainment system for every passenger with this model.
On the exterior, the is now more aggressive and masculine, with bigger and wider front grille that has a silver line with Toyota logo on it. Beneath the grille is a longer air intake with fog lights on both sides. The back part of the new Kluger also comes with a little more aggressive look and LED lighting as well.
On the inside, it boasts the same focus on roominess as its predecessor. It has a leather accented interior that gives room for seven passengers and a lot of legroom and headroom in any area of the vehicle.
In addition, the model also comes with the latest technological features for every passenger. Front parts have a touchscreen that is connected to Toyota's Link navigation and provides advanced infotainment system that includes the steering wheel that can control music and devices that it connected to it via six speakers stereo system.
The back section of the car comes with a 9-inch touchscreen that provides DVD and Blue Ray entertainment system. Other features include a keyless unlocking system and start/stop engine button, reversing camera and reversed parking sensors. The higher trim levels add a three-zone automatic climate control that is divided between the front and rear row of the car.
Under the hood, the new Kluger is powered by a that produces 270 hp at 6,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is rated at 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.
The 2018 Toyota Kluger is anticipated to be available in the United States in fall 2017. However, pricing will depend on the six trim levels, with the base price starting around $30,000.
